The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Chung-Ang University (CAU) is one of the top-ranked schools in South Korea with about 40 active academic faculty members, 200 graduate students, and 1,000 undergraduates. As the largest and the most energetic department at CAU, we perform world-class research and provide the highest quality of education in the broad area of EEE and Computer Science (CS).
Our research is not limited to academia. We have a strong relationship with a wide range of EEE and CS companies. We conduct various collaborative projects for entrepreneurial innovation and offer internship programs as numerous regular courses. As a result, our students have great opportunities to perform interdisciplinary research with diverse industry partners. Specifically, our undergraduates and graduates are in high demand by electronics companies, power companies, and communication and computer industries.
We host 9 laboratories across diverse research areas including semiconductor and integrated circuits, electromagnetic and optical wave, communications and digital processing, control systems, electrical energy, and computer systems. Each lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in a modern environment and ensures exceptional research results in EEE and CS.
