Dae-Hyun Choi is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chung-ang University, Seoul, Korea. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 2002, and an M.Sc. degree and a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, in 2008 and 2015. From 2002 to 2006, he was a researcher with Korea Telecom (KT), Seoul, Korea, where he worked on designing and implementing home network systems. From 2014 to 2015, he was a senior researcher with LG Electronics, where he researched smart grid system. He has received the Best Paper Award from the 2012 IEEE Third International Conference on Smart Grid Communications (SmartGridComm) in Tainan, Taiwan. His research interests include power system state estimation, electricity markets, the cyber-physical security of smart grids, and the theory and application of cyber-physical energy systems.
